The bike: 06 Lemond Sarthe, geeked out with Powertap Pro and Garmin Edge 705. The steel bike I never had when I was young...old school Lemond relaxed seat tube angle, triple crank.
The Event: Utah Summer Games individual time trial and road race. I chose these events because racing out of town seems somehow less intimidating that racing here.
Between now and June I need to lose 25lbs and train like crazy. Coming later...links to Traning Peaks and Garmin Connect. Wish me luck!! ...and by luck I mean lots of self-mastery!
